When does the fellowship application launch?
Basta runs cohorts throughout the year with 2-3 application windows. Check our Fellowship page to get the latest information on the next application deadline.
Will the Fellowship help me get a job?
The goal of the Fellowship is to set you up for success—and land you a job! We work with you as long as you work with us. Nearly 80% of participants land a desirable position they deserve when they put in the work and time to reach their goal.
Can I apply for the Basta Fellowship to help with grad school applications?
The Basta Fellowship is for participants who want to find a great first job after college. We focus on students graduating from college or recently graduated (within 3 months). While we wish you well in your endeavors, the Fellowship isn’t for those pursuing further education.

If you have an immediate role, please share it using our contact form. This will get routed to someone who can review and reach out immediately to get started.
We work with students, but we are located outside of NYC. Does Basta have Powered by Basta partnerships outside of NYC?
Powered by Basta partners are now nationwide! We work with organizations—both in NYC and the country—to support students. Examples of partners include charter management organizations, CBOs, higher-ed institutions, and college success organizations. Contact us here to learn more.
We are looking to support students who are not college bound. Does Basta work with non-college students?
We are piloting a few initiatives for adjacent populations (like early career jobseekers). We’d love to hear your ideas and needs. Contact us here to discuss potential collaboration opportunities.
How does the diagnostic work? Can I take it as an individual?
Currently, the Diagnostic is a business-focused product in which we partner with organizations to administer to their constituents.
