DATA ANALYTICS MANAGER
The Data & Analytics Manager will serve as a strategic partner to Basta’s teams by transforming complex data into actionable insights that advance our mission. In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between non-technical stakeholders and data-driven solutions, ensuring that every analysis, visualization, and data system you build directly informs program design, performance monitoring, and organizational decision-making. Your work will empower staffat all levels to ask the right questions, understand “why” behind the numbers, and ultimately drive better outcomes for our students and partners.
CAREER SUCCESS MANAGER
As a Career Success Manager, you will support a caseload of Basta fellows to secure a career pathway first job within 6 months of graduating. You will serve as the relationship manager for fellows as they complete Basta’s core curriculum while leading weekly small group coaching sessions that hold young people accountable to meeting ambitious targets for their job search progress. You will use Basta’s frameworks and tools along with your own personal style & approaches to create a culture of accountability, buy-in and support in your weekly calls. Using a combination of qualitative and quantitative data, you’ll identify fellows who need additional support or intervention and leverage Basta’s resources to ensure they stay/get back on track.
DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC OPERATIONS
As Basta scales, we're looking for a Director of Strategic Operations who can solve our most critical cross-functional challenges and build the systems that enable sustainable growth. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving, serving as both a rapid response leader for urgent operational challenges and an architect of durable solutions. You will be responsible for diagnosing complex problems that span multiple teams, rallying the right people to solve them, and building flexible systems that prevent future breakdowns. This means getting into the weeds to understand root causes, designing rightsized solutions that don't over-engineer processes, and ensuring adoption, often through influence rather than direct authority. You'll also serve as a translator between different teams—helping technical, sales, and program teams understand each other's perspectives, constraints, and needs when working on shared challenges.
Technical Lead/Staff Engineer
You’ll step into a pivotal role shaping the technical direction of our AI-powered Seekr Adaptive platform, the product at the heart of our mission to close opportunity gaps for first-generation college students.
As our Technical Lead, this is the most senior full-time engineering role at Basta to date. You’ll be hands-on in building complex systems, but equally important, you’ll lead as a technical mentor, project driver, and culture-setter. With strong contract principal engineers in place on backend and infrastructure, we’re looking for someone who brings deep expertise in frontend engineering while still operating full-stack. You’ll ensure our platform delivers polished, performant, and scalable user experiences, and you’ll model what excellence looks like across design, code quality, and architectural thinking.
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE & HR OPERATIONS
Basta is scaling quickly, and we need a leader who can steward our financial health and ensure our HR and operational infrastructure keeps pace with our growth. Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Operations (SDBO), the Director of Finance & HR Operations will serve as Basta’s financial leader while also holding responsibility for key HR compliance and organizational risk functions. This is a highly cross-functional role, working with programs, revenue, and operations teams to steward Basta’s budget, maintain compliance, and build systems that scale. The Director will bring both rigor and flexibility—ensuring accuracy in the details while building processes that empower the team to do their best work.
Director, Discovery App
Discovery, Basta’s core scaling initiative, is an à la carte and synchronous career readiness program that has reached 5,000 students in three years. The Director, Discovery, will drive the program to 2x its participant reach this year while ensuring a high-quality, high-impact experience for students and partners. Rooted in Basta’s mission to create equitable career pathways, this role is central to translating strategic vision into operational excellence, cross-functional alignment, and partner success. Thriving in this role requires a bold, data-informed mindset, a deep commitment to user experience, and a collaborative spirit that energizes teams and fuels innovation.
